A56 speed limit
The 60mph speed limit from the Murdishaw Roundabout to the 30mph signs as you enter the village by Sutton Fields has been reduced to 40mph. The 60mph from Aston Lane over the swing bridge into Frodsham has been reduced to 50mph.
Pedestrian Crossing
Discussions are taking place with regards to the possibility of having a pedestrian crossing installed on the A533, to the left of the junction with the Murdishaw roundabout to enable pedestrians to cross for easy access to the Aldi supermarket.

The Danny
The SS Daniel Adamson has left its mooring on the Weaver Navigation near to the swing bridge and is spending the winter months in Liverpool. It will be returning to Sutton Weaver on 3rd May 2025.
